Sunny and hot start to the week

It has been a sunny and hot weekend across North Texas, but the temperatures have at least remained below 100 degrees. And that trend will continue.
This coming week won’t be quite as hot as the heat dome weakens and shifts northeast. Highs will be back to the mid 90s by mid week.
While a few isolated showers may pop up as early as Tuesday or Wednesday, the chance isn’t high enough to include in the forecast, and dry conditions will persist for much of the week. However, a cold front arriving late week into Labor Day weekend could bring some much needed rain back to the area. Stay tuned!
