Below are the most notable NBA players born on Nov 29.
Julius Randle (1994): Julius Randle was the seventh overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, selected by the Los Angeles Lakers. After playing in just one game during his rookie campaign, Randle showed consistent improvement throughout all his four seasons in Los Angeles. The Lakers traded Randle to the New Orleans Pelicans as part of the Anthony Davis blockbuster deal in 2018, where he spent just one season. Randle signed with the New York Knicks ahead of the 2019-20 season where he quickly established himself as a key player, winning the NBA’s Most Improved Player award in 2021. He also earned his first of three All-Star appearances that same year. Randle was part of another blockbuster trade in the 2024 offseason that sent Karl-Anthony Towns to New York and Randle to Minnesota. He’s averaging 19.1 points, 9.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists throughout his 11-year career.
